            Supervisor Anderson opened the regular Town Board meeting at 7:30 with the Pledge of Allegiance.  

            Resolution 2019-52 Approval of Minutes

A motion was made by Councilor Greenway and seconded by Councilor Barber to accept the following resolution.  The motion was adopted by a vote of 5 ayes Anderson, Behling, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays. Resolved the Mexico Town Board approves the minutes from the May 13, 2019 town board meeting.

Public Comment and Concerns:  Improving the Little League fields at Community Park, updating the Comprehensive Plan and the cost of legal fee for the snow removal contract with the county.

Reports:

            Town Clerk/ Tax Collector- A motion was made by Councilor Behling and seconded by Councilor Greenway to accept the town clerk/tax collector report as presented.  The motion was adopted by a vote of 5 ayes Anderson, Behling, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays.

            Dog Control Officer- A motion was made by Councilor Greenway and seconded by Councilor Partrick to accept the dog control report as presented.  The motion was adopted by a vote of 5 ayes Anderson, Behling, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays.

Zoning Officer / Building Inspector– A motion was made by Councilor Greenway and seconded by Councilor Behling to accept the monthly report as presented.  The motion was adopted by a vote of 5 ayes Anderson, Behling, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays.

           Highway Superintendent – A motion was made by Councilor Greenway and seconded by Councilor Behling to accept the monthly report as presented.  The motion was adopted by a vote of 5 ayes Anderson, Behling, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays.

Community Park – The pump station needed to be repaired.  There are 471 children in soccer and 25 reservations for the pavilion.  A man volunteered to use his tractor and York rake to level ground at the park.  Diehl said he would like to have the town furnish the fuel.  Marsden said he would get the diesel fuel.  Diehl said the drainage problem occurs every year.  Barber suggested putting in a French drain to the west.  A motion was made by Councilor Behling and seconded by Councilor Barber to accept the monthly report as presented.  The motion was adopted by a vote of 5 ayes Anderson, Behling, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays.

Mexico Point Park –Dick Salley said the park had its first major event on Sunday with approximately 250 people.  A roofing contractor attending said there is an organization that would install the roof labor free.  And will present it to the committee next week.  He asked if the town would spray for poison ivy.  The banks are eroding due to the high water.  Barber is meeting with Assemblyman Barclay next week and asked if he could get pictures of before and after to assist him with his presentation.  A motion was made by Councilor Greenway and seconded by Councilor Behling to accept the monthly report as presented.  The motion was adopted by a vote of 5 ayes Anderson, Behling, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays.

Water Commissioner – Grimshaw said there are some hydrants missing markers.  Mexico Point Park’s leak, the park event and the car show increased usage so the village had to use two pumps. .  A motion was made by Councilor Partrick and seconded by Councilor Greenway to accept the monthly report as presented.  The motion was adopted by a vote of 5 ayes Anderson, Behling, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays.

Supervisor A motion was made by Councilor Behling and seconded by Councilor Barber to approve the supervisor’s report as presented.  The motion was adopted by a vote of 5 ayes Anderson, Behling, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays.

             Resolution 2019- 53 May Payroll

             A motion was made by Councilor Greenway and seconded by Councilor Partrick to accept the following resolution.  The motion was adopted by a vote of 5 ayes Anderson, Behling, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays. Resolved the Mexico Town Board approves the April payroll.

             Water Update –The bidding for Water Service Area #5 is still delayed due to comments from NYSDOT and NYSDEC.  They are working on the issues and should go to bid soon.  The attorney has finished the easements.  A meeting is set up for Thursday to discuss future water districts.  A motion was made by Councilor Behling and seconded by Councilor Greenway to accept the report as presented.  The motion was adopted by a vote of 5 ayes Anderson, Behling, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays.

             McFee Ambulance gave a presentation on the ambulance service.

Resolution 2019-54 Loader BAN    

A motion was made by Councilor Greenway and seconded by Councilor Partrick to accept the following resolution.  The motion was adopted by a vote of 5 ayes, Anderson, Greenway, Behling, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays. Resolved the Mexico Town Board approves the payment of $17,092.63 plus interest for the loader due on July 5, 2019.

Resolution 2019-55 Court Audit

             A motion was made by Supervisor Anderson and seconded by Councilor Partrick to accept the following resolution.  The motion was adopted by a vote of 5 ayes Anderson, Behling, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays. Resolved the Mexico Town Board approves the 2018 Court Audits.  

Resolution 2019-56 Interviewing Committee for Assessor

A motion was made by Councilor Greenway and seconded by Supervisor Anderson to accept the following resolution.  The motion was adopted by a vote of 5 ayes Anderson, Behling, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays.

            Resolution 2019-57 Update Comprehensive Plan

A motion was made by Councilor Partrick and seconded by Councilor Barber to accept the following resolution.  The motion was adopted by 5 ayes Anderson, Behling, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays. Resolved the Mexico Town Board authorizes the Mexico Planning Board to update the Comprehensive Plan and submit it to the Mexico Town Board for review.

             Greenway asked if there was an update on the repairs to the clock tower.  Anderson said no.

             Resolution 2019-58 Audit of Claims 

A motion was made by Councilor Behling and seconded by Council Greenway to accept the following resolution.  The motion was adopted by a vote of 5 ayes Anderson, Behling, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays. Resolved that the bills for Abstract 6 have been reviewed by the Town Board and are authorized for payment in the following amounts:

A motion was made by Councilor Partrick and seconded by Councilor Behling at 9:20 to adjourn.  The motion was adopted by a vote of 5 ayes Anderson, Behling, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays.
