Supervisor Anderson opened the regular Town Board meeting at 7:30 with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Resolution 2017-62 Approval of Minutes
A motion was made by Councilor Greenway and seconded by Councilor Partrick to accept the following resolution. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes, Anderson, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays. Resolved the Mexico Town Board approves the minutes from the July 10, 2017 town board meetings.

Town Clerk – A motion was made by Councilor Greenway and seconded by Councilor Barber to accept the town clerk report as presented. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes, Anderson, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays.
Dog Control Officer- A motion was made by Supervisor Anderson and seconded by Councilor Barber to accept the monthly report as presented. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes, Anderson, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays.
Zoning Officer / Building Inspector – A motion was made by Councilor Partrick and seconded by Councilor Barber to accept the monthly report as presented. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes, Anderson, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays.
Highway Superintendent – A motion was made by Councilor Greenway and seconded by Councilor Partrick to accept the monthly report as presented. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes, Anderson, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays.
Community Park – A motion was made by Councilor Barber and seconded by Councilor Greenway to accept the monthly report as presented. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes, Anderson, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays.
Mexico Point Park – A motion was made by Councilor Partrick and seconded by Councilor Greenway to accept the monthly report as presented. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes, Anderson, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays.
Supervisor –A motion was made by Councilor Greenway and seconded by Councilor Barber to approve the supervisor’s report as presented. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes, Anderson, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays.

There was a discussion on the Lake Ontario levels.
Resolution 2017-63 Payroll
A motion was made by Councilor Partrick and seconded by Councilor Barber to accept the following resolution. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes, Anderson, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays. Resolved the Mexico Town Board approves the July payroll.

A motion was made by Councilor Barber and seconded by Councilor Greenway go into executive session at 8:05 to discuss litigation. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes, Anderson, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays.
A motion was made by Councilor Barber and seconded by Councilor Greenway to come out of executive session at 8:16. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes, Anderson, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays.

Engineer Bob Guminiak recommended the Town of Mexico pay Syracuse Constructor $58,320.43 on payment #8, to hold $18,600 in damages and to back charge cost incurred to June 16th.
Resolution 2017-64– WD#3 Payment to Syracuse Constructors
A motion was made by Councilor Greenway and seconded by Councilor Barber to accept the following resolution. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes, Anderson, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays. Resolved the Mexico Town Board agrees to pay Syracuse Constructor $58,320.43 on payment #8, to hold $18,600 in damages and to back charge cost incurred to June 16th.
Attorney Nelson said municipalities under 50 employees do not have to participate in the Family Leave Act. No action was taken.
Patti Hall resigned from the Planning Board effective August 10, 2017
Resolution 2017-65 Highway Convention Attendance
A motion was made by Councilors Partrick and seconded by Councilor Barber to accept the following resolution. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes, Anderson, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays. Resolved the Mexico Town Board approves the Highway Superintendent to attend the Highway Convention in September.
The highway superintendent said he would look at the stumps at Casey’s Cottage and determine if the highway department could remove them.
Resolution 2017 66 Audit of Claims
A motion was made by Councilor Greenway and seconded by Council Barber to accept the following resolution. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes, Anderson, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays. Resolved that the bills for Abstract 8 have been reviewed by the Town Board and are authorized for payment in the following amounts:

A motion was made by Councilor Partrick and seconded by Councilor Greenway to adjourn at 8:24. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes, Anderson, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays.
