REGULAR MEETING – 6:00 PM

Present:          Mayor Grimshaw, Trustees: Emery, Harter, Hotchkiss and Linerode, John Power, Attorney Mowry

Mayor Grimshaw opened the Public Hearing at 6:00 pm on the proposed 2020-2021 Village Budget. Mayor Grimshaw stated that for the purchase of a 2015 Ford F250 Pickup truck with plow and the purchase of a new Bobcat the village would proceed with the 3 annual payment financing option from Real Lease.  The first payment will come from the Capital Reserve Account and the next 2 payments will be re-evaluated each year. No public comment.  The public hearing was closed on motion of Trustee Hotchkiss, seconded Trustee Harter, all aye, at 6:01 pm.

The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of March 4, 2020 were approved on motion of Trustee Emery, seconded by Trustee Linerode, all aye.

Reports were given by Mayor Grimshaw on behalf of William Hamacher Zoning/Code Enforcement Officer and John Power/Village Administrator.

The proposed 2020-2021 Village Budget was approved on motion of Trustee Emery, seconded Trustee Hotchkiss, all aye.

The following resolution was passed on motion of Trustee Emery, seconded Trustee Harter, all aye:

RESOLUTION

This resolution is to allow the Town of Mexico to withhold a sum of $12,000.00 from the fee paid to the Village of Mexico for maintenance of town water lines which include fire hydrant flushing and valve exercising for 2020.

In place of paying the Village of Mexico for this service a Town of Mexico water commissioner appointed by the Town Board would perform this maintenance.

This agreement covers town water districts 1, 2, 3, and 5.

On motion of Trustee Hotchkiss, seconded Trustee Linerode, all aye, the board agreed to Municipal Solutions, Inc. Amendment No. 2 for the WWTP phase 3 sewer improvement project.  This amendment will extend the original contract for an additional 18 months.

On motion of Trustee Hotchkiss, seconded Trustee Linerode, all aye, the following funds were transferred:
