Resolution 2021-9 Approval of Minutes
A motion was made by Councilor Greenway and seconded by Councilor Behling to accept the following resolution. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes Behling, Barber, Greenway and Partrick and 0 nays.
Resolved the Mexico Town Board approves the minutes from the January 11, 2021 town board meeting.

Concerns were if the Community Park would be opening for sports this year. Dugouts for the park.

Town Clerk/ Tax Collector/ Water Clerk- A motion was made by Councilor Barber and seconded by Councilor Behling to accept the January town clerk/tax collector reports as presented. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes Behling, Barber, Partrick, Greenway and 0 nays.
Dog Control Officer- A motion was made by Councilor Greenway and seconded by Councilor Behling to accept the January report as presented. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes Behling, Barber, Partrick, Greenway and 0 nays.
Zoning Officer / Building Inspector–A motion was made by Councilor Greenway and seconded by Councilor Partrick to approve the report as presented. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes Behling, Barber, Partrick, Greenway and 0 nays.
Highway Superintendent – A motion was made by Councilor Greenway and seconded by Councilor Partrick to approve the report as presented. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes Behling, Barber, Partrick, Greenway and 0 nays.
Community Park – none.
Mexico Point Park –Partrick said there are squirrels in the caretaker’s cottage. The crawl space needs to be cleaned. A motion was made by Councilor Partrick and seconded by Councilor Greenway to approve the report as presented. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes Behling, Barber, Partrick, Greenway and 0 nays.
Planning and Zoning Weber said there has been an increase in applications. Waterbury said the boards are processing applications. A motion was made by Councilor Greenway and seconded by Councilor Barber to approve the Planning and Zoning reports as presented. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes Behling, Barber, Partrick, Greenway and 0 nays.
Water Commissioner – Grimshaw thanked the highway department for the stone. He said he met with two members of the town board to discuss water infrastructure. A motion was made by Councilor Greenway, and seconded by Councilor Behling to accept the January report as presented. The motion was adopted by a vote 4 ayes Behling, Barber, Partrick, Greenway and 0 nays.
Supervisor –A motion was made by Councilor Partrick and seconded by Councilor Barber to approve the January supervisor’s reports as presented. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes Behling, Barber, Partrick, Greenway and 0 nays.
Resolution 2020- 10 Payrolls
A motion was made by Councilor Greenway and seconded by Councilor Barber to accept the following resolution. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes Behling, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays.
Resolved the Mexico Town Board approves the January payroll.
Water Update – Yerdon said the public hearing for WD#6 can be held virtually. There was a discussion on how to field questions on Zoom. A motion was made by Councilor Greenway and seconded by Councilor Behling to approve the water report. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes Behling, Barber, Partrick, Greenway and 0 nays.
Clock Update – Barber said the contractors are waiting for better weather to finish the clock tower.
Resolution 2021-11 Appoint Nicole Wild as Deputy Clerk
A motion was made by Councilor Behling and seconded by Councilor Partrick to accept the following resolution. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes Behling, Barber, Partrick, Greenway and 0 nays.
Resolved the Mexico Town Board appoints Nicole Wild as Second Deputy Town Clerk. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes Behling, Barber, Partrick, Greenway and 0 nays.
The Vehicle Policy will be discussed at the March meeting.
A bid from JCH was received for removing debris from existing gutters and installing leaf guard for $864.00.
Resolution 2021-12 Leaf Guard on Casey’s Cottage
A motion was made by Councilor Partrick seconded by Councilor Barber to approve the following resolution. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes Behling, Barber, Partrick, Greenway and 0 nays.
Resolved the Mexico Town Board approves the bid from JCH to install leaf guard on Casey’s cottage.
Resolution 2021-13 Resignation
A motion was made by Councilor Greenway seconded by Councilor Barber to approve the following resolution. The motion was adopted by a vote of 3 ayes Greenway, Barber, Partrick, 0 nays and Behling abstained. Resolved the Mexico Town Board approves
Resolution 2021-14 Appointment
A motion was made by Councilor Partrick seconded by councilor Barber to approve the following resolution. The motion was adopted by a vote of 3 ayes Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays.
Resolved the Mexico Town Board appoints Eric Behling as Mexico Town Supervisor.
Resolution 2021-15 Appointment
A motion was made by Councilor Barber seconded by Councilor Partrick to approve the following resolution. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes Behling, Greenway, Barber, Partrick and 0 nays.
Resolved the Mexico Town Board appoints Cynthia Robert as Town Board Member.
Yerdon said everything will be done in his power to avoid Ernestine Hughes’ plant if water district #6 is approved. It is possible that if the pipes are on her side of the road the contractors could drill that section.
Resolution 2021-16 Audit of Claims
A motion was made by Councilor Partrick and seconded by Councilor Barber to approve the following resolution. The motion was adopted by a vote of 4 ayes Behling, Barber, Partrick, Greenway and 0 nays.
Resolved that the bills for Abstract 2 have been reviewed by the Town Board and are authorized for payment in the following amounts:

There was a discussion about holding the March 8, 2021 town board meeting at the school or Zoom. Partrick will contact the board with the venue at a later date.
